Welcome to our heavenly & freshly, citrusy scented lemongrass soap –  lovingly handmade in small batches using the cold processed method. Every soap is hand cut making each bar delightfully unique. Creating a beautiful citrusy cleansing lather from saponified shea butter & organic oils: extra virgin olive; coconut; castor; lemongrass oil.  Our soaps are gentle & won’t dry the skin like so many soaps. You’ll feel the difference compared to soaps available at the supermarket.

We believe in only using the finest quality ingredients. For example, we won’t use palm or rapeseed oil.  Including ingredients such as colourants (natural or otherwise) or glitter may be aesthetically pleasing to some. However, this would reduce the overall purity of the soap without any additional benefit to the skin.  We  simply work with nature to create a beautifully natural soap that your skin will love.

The benefits of lemongrass essential oil:

Lemongrass is antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory which renders it yet another healing and calming essential oil.   Lemongrass is a popular ingredient for massages due to its anti-inflammatory properties but also because of containing eugenol which is known to have similar effects as aspirin.  It can be used to help relieve headaches and migraines as well as muscle and stomach aches.  Furthermore, lemongrass is an anti-oxidant which can help fight the free radicals that can wreak havoc on our bodies.  It even has antidepressant qualities.   Lemongrass is frequently used as natural insect repellent!
